She began piano lessons at the age of four. In 2001, she began playing the erhu with a Chinese erhu player she heard just after the Great Hanshin Earthquake, and could not forget the sound of the erhu. In 2008, she began teaching erhu at Shin Kyoh Gakki, and in 2012, she became an instructor at NHK Culture Kyoto.
Currently teaches erhu as an instructor in Kobe and the Hanshin area, and performs throughout the Kansai region. In addition to Chinese instruments, he also performs with piano, guitar, Japanese drums, and shamisen. He is also active in arranging Chinese music and creating stage music incorporating the erhu. He is in charge of erhu and bass erhu in the Chinese instrument unit "Bon ami Quatre.
